Hope you’re having a great weekend.
So, my question is about which shows feel like they’re not synonymous with the other shows that aired on that same network and which shows feel like another network’s show.
For instance, Glee was a show that aired on Fox but it was a scripted musical comedy-drama that was much more upbeat than most other Fox shows and it had a very diverse cast and actually explored topics relating to diversity and acceptance and belonging and having the courage to express yourself, unlike most Fox shows which were more irreverent, risqué or hard-edged.
It would’ve fit right in on either the CW, NBC or ABC.
What are other examples of shows that feel like another network’s show?
