Week 1 Power Rankings:

One week down and we seem to already have some tiers forming. The Top 6 have a pretty sizable lead over the Middle 6 (and within that middle 6, Nebraska has already separated itself out as the best of the mids), which have a solid lead over the Bottom 6.

The Indiana schools have pulled themselves up from the bottom of the pack and now lead that bottom tier, while newcomer UCLA has fallen all the way down to the bottom. Minnesota and Northwestern are showing them some Midwest kindness by chilling right alongside them, though.

Meanwhile, Ohio State easily kept its top spot while the four teams behind all shuffled around a bit, mostly due to Oregon and Michigan having fairly mediocre showings.

The first conference game of the season is on Saturday as Michigan State heads to Maryland.
