I'm one of those libertarian-leaning people that wants the freedom to make my own hippie commune. To do this I've kinda opened up my life to friends and family. I had a gaming computer I didn't use anymore, and a friend needed a pc for work so I just gave it to her. I moved and her sister needed a mattress so I gave it to her. In turn, this friend has given me other things or bought items off of me for higher prices. Currently my market is a few friends and my family. I'm starting to manage to not need to go to the store for many things. Ideally, I would like to find a way to also barter for some of my food but I'm not there yet.
Has anyone else experimented with this? Basically, becoming your own market and trying to go off of using USD or stores as a middle man?
