Original Title: Season 4 of The Umbrella Academy feels very detached from the original plot. However, because of the long gap since the last season, the creators can practically do whatever they want. I don’t remember much of anything.

The most appalling part:

• The subplot of Five and Lila. Because why? Just why? 🤯🤔 No chemistry at all and no development. It was like shoved down our throats.

Then there is the alien love interest of Hargreaves. Also no character development or chemistry.

The core of the story is gone. It’s just sad.

The only relief for me is Klauss is still Klauss. The acting is always on point.
