Don’t get me wrong the show isn’t perfect in every aspect (RJ reveal) but the way the show received a 7th season to wrap everything up organically is so refreshing to see in times where most shows get cancelled quickly, are rather dark or there’s no happy ending.

Haven’t seen a show with multiple seasons that had me as attached to the screen and then satisfied after having watched it till the end in years. To Jane see grow from being a broken man who lost his family to forming bonds with others over the seasons then into being given a 2nd chance in having a family, it made me tear at the end. He deserved it.

I really miss crimes shows like this- or maybe I am just getting old and soft.

Edit: And Jane/Simon Baker’s acting is so excellent. His mannerism, he’s so charismatic, beautiful and charming- loved him with Tunney. I will never move on from his smile nor do I know how I can move on from him

Edit 2: Yes, the RJ reveal was underwhelming but that’s no5 what I am getting at, it’s what is seen beyond the "big bad guy "
