My partner and so many men i know do this, complain about their wives/gfs nagging them. The aforementioned “nagging” is because these men won’t do the basic things to keep a home nice and show basic respect.
My partner accused me of nagging him the other day because I keep telling him to stop hanging wet towels on top of eachother in the bathroom. They absolutely stink and the towels underneath have even grown mould. Our bathroom stinks of mould and damp because he keeps stacking them. Apparently he’s a victim because I’m nagging him to not do this, to MY towels! I have had to chuck away 2 now.
Other instances of my nagging is having to keep telling him to pick up his dirty clothes that are everywhere, all the time. Kitchen floor, sofa behind the couch cushions, on the dining room table! I apparently nag him to stop saying up so late and keeping me up when I have to be up at 6am, as opposed to him who rolls out of bed at 9am. Im exhausted.
Its now got to the point where he just shouts “oh my god!!!” Over the top of me because I keep repeating myself…because it keeps happening.
Has anyone else noticed this? Unsure what they expect, maybe that we just put up with these things?
