I really would like to know if: young nannies kidnapping children, step daughters trying to kill step moms and cheating husbands trying to kill their wives are the driving fears for mid-west American moms and housewives for the last 30 years, since these are the main plots of most of the Lifetime / Marvista TV movies.

Seeing these types of movies look ludicrous on afternoon TV in the UK. I can understand the Hallmark murder mystery films more like Mystery 101, Garage Sale Mysteries and Aurora Teagarden, they have reasonable scripts and certain production value.

But the Lifetime / Marvista movies, have endless dialogue and the same plots that repeat for years and they look even cheaper than a Canadian prime time TV show.
