Does anyone else feel like there’s been a really big uptick in misogyny over the past few years? I’m really sick of it. Women have fought so hard for equality and equity and it feels like we are going backwards - but maybe I’m just more educated and aware of it all?

I feel like increased usage of social platforms has left young kids and young adults really vulnerable to that indoctrination (especially during covid lockdowns) and it’s really making a big come back. It’s not just young people though. I’ve seen grown adults in their 20s and 30s + becoming increasingly sexist and just hateful about women. And while I see it mostly in men I even see it in women too!

Im pretty sure I’m not imagining it. I saw a couple of reports that point in this direction. Will try to find study to links in comments for those interested.

What are your thoughts, feelings and experiences on this? Would be interested to know what countries responses are from. I’m in the UK but maybe this is not a worldwide thing?
