I am 35 years old, so when lindsay was popular I was in high school, and I also remember how I used to think she seemed so dumb. It wasn’t that odd since that was ALL that was constantly written about her. Im 40 min in to the doc, listening to how she was treated as a teenager in the spotlight and being burned out by 20. Im thinking, if I saw something like that in media go down today, I’d be very quick to tell my daughter or my niece that the way those girls are being treated is not alright. And then it struck me that older women around me really didn’t bother with saying any of those things, really just things like “dont be like her” or even talk trash. That was fucking gross. The end:/
