Basically the title. I had my tunes tied during a emergency c-section when my son was born. The original plan was to have my husband get a vasectomy, but I had a contingency plan of going ahead and removing my tubes if I ended up in c-section which is what happened.

I brought it up with my husband if he would still be willing to get a vasectomy. We both agree it’s a little overkill, but decided on why not. Our insurance will pay for it and we 100% don’t want any more kids. Plus we live in a red state with shitty reproductive laws.

Somehow it came up in a conversation at his work and the women (he mostly has women cowokers) we’re super against it and have been giving him shit ever since. Apparently they think it makes him looks super sketchy, like he’s going to turn into a serial cheater once he can’t get other women pregnant anymore and can’t belive I’m ok with it… even though it was my idea to start with.

What do y’all think? Your opinions aren’t really going to change our decision, but I might be less upfront that we’re both sterilized if this is a common train of thought.
