I 100% do NOT live a mormon lifestyle (nor subscribe to their beliefs) and yet, I’m a BYU fan. I even have BYU Koozies for my beer on game day. I get a ton of looks when I’m cussing up a storm and throwing back frosty brown pops during BYU games.
I became a fan back in 2009 when they played Oklahoma in the inaugural first CFB game played at Jerry World. It was fun seeing a G5 so fired up to go against a blueblood in a hostile environment. When their QB yelled to the camera “we’re gonna win” as they went in to half time, I became a fan.
This made me wonder who else out there has a football team they support that makes zero sense.
