Does anyone else have this problem? How do you approach it??
I have a short, curvy, muscular, chubby body. Aka I’m extremely pear-shaped. I’m non-binary, so I cover it up most of the time since I’m a little dysphoric. Because of that, most people see me wearing baggy clothes and treat me like I’m dumpy and unconfident. I grew used to it, but the moment I wear tighter clothes that reveal my shape, it’s a fucking 180. They literally call me “eye candy” and instead of talking to me like the bro I was, they start making comments about my body. And it’s not just men, it’s also with women as well. Before, I would be the weird nb that they would look with pity. If I wear tighter clothes for working out, the pool, or in the summer then suddenly I’m glared at???
Like damn, what are you supposed to do? I want to wear clothes that are more suiting for my body type but I also don’t want to be oggled. The only time I’ve had success is in the winter, but I’m in the US south so that’s not happening anytime soon.
