The Acolyte cost $670k per minute of footage. I don’t know much about show biz, but should see some evidence on the screen.
The money didn’t go to casting. Manny Jacinto is the only actor I recognized. He was in The Good Place, which had Kristen Bell and Ted Danson, and they’d be more expensive.
CGI is expensive, but how much was there? She-Hulk was expensive also, but they had to CGI every scene She-Hulk was in. The Acolyte didn’t have that many scenes that were all CGI.
Was there a ton of re-shoots, like Borderlands had?
