Can be common or uncommon. One that maybe makes you lose immersion or take a pass.
Mine is the poor protagonist with a rich friend trope. I’m surprised how often I see it, and to me it’s the laziest way to drive a plot. The premise is usually that the character is broke…and so many viewers can identify with being broke at some point. But in some episodes or arcs the rich friend will show up and they casually fly somewhere or do something that poor people never do, just for laughs or drama.
