In a vacuum not knowing Rick and Morty humor and plot lines (which you should view this anime in that vacuum) this is just as entertaining as Space Dandy
I felt like the Internet has been oddly harsh on this one episode but it hit the EVA/ Space Dandy/ Anime tropes perfectly
I’m really looking forward to the rest. Soundtrack is on point
