For reference, my brother lived with me and had his own room. I charged him rent sometimes, but most of the time I didn’t because he doesn’t have a job so there’s no way he can pay me. Regardless, I never made a big deal other than him to follow the house rules.
For reference he is 23. My brother and I have butted heads in the past because he has brought company to my home despite me not wanting anyone over. I do not want him having company over at all and especially without letting me know beforehand.
Well yesterday, my brother had not been at the house for some days. He came home at about 3am, I have the ring on my door so I have surveillance. And he brought a girl that I didn’t recognize over the house, he snuck her in. For reference, she is not his gf but I did not know how else to refer to her.
Once I woke up, I looked at my surveillance and realized that he’d brought a girl over, he was in the living room alone when I confronted him and I argued with him on why he’d bring her over. I told him I don’t like company here. After a long back and forth, he yelled out “She’s pregnant!” So I asked him why he would create this problem for himself. And he insisted that she needed someplace to stay for the day, I cursed at him and yelled loudly for him to make her get TF out and to make sure she’s leaving my damn house.
Soon after she left and I then kicked my brother out. Some feel it was a harsh approach being that she is pregnant, and he was in a tough situation, but I feel like he should’ve told me and he shouldn’t have brought her over.
