For us as much as I hate to say it Dwayne Haskins (RIP). The more I’ve gone back and looked at the 2018 season the more I realize his receivers really made him look good that season with YAC (more so than any other Ohio State QB in recent memory). He could put tremendous zip on the ball on his throws and had some heroic performances (Maryland comes to mind) but Ohio State’s bread and butter as an offense that season was the short crossing routes because we had fast receivers like Parris Campbell who could do a lot of damage in space and that in turn made Dwayne’s numbers look good.
