Over the next several months, Sports Reference will be rolling out upgraded stat tables across all of our sites. We will be adding new features and stats, including awards columns, playoff stats, and much more.

Once a table has been updated, you will see an ✨ Upgraded ✨ marker.

First up on Pro Football Reference, we have upgraded the Player Passing Stats table on League Register pages! Here are the new features you’ll see there…

Playoffs Tab

You can now find regular season and playoff player statistics in the same place by switching between these tabs. This tab will also be coming to player and team pages.

Partial Rows

In addition to a player’s full season stat lines, we’ve added partial rows to league pages for players who change teams mid-season.

Awards Column

The awards column that you see on player pages is now coming to league and team pages. So far, we’ve added to the league page, so you can see at a glance which players went to the Pro Bowl, were All-Pros, won MVP, etc.

Black Ink

When looking at statistics for all players, you can see at a glance who led the league in a variety of categories. We show Black Ink (bolding) for all stats with a leaderboard.

League Average Row

To make comparison and analysis even easier, we’ve added a new row highlighting the league average in a number of stats.

This blog post will be updated over the next couple of months as updates roll out across our sites.
