I remember the series as being good but I don’t remember the absolute laugh out loud funny I am experiencing on the rewatch. There is a bunch of references to the politics at the time, and it’s a lot over the top sexist/racist/misogynistic but because they skewer everybody, it doesn’t bite.
I just started the third season and granted, it’s not as funny as the first two but still a genuine chuckle and serious laugh out loud moments are had. Watch for Cloris Leachman!!
