There are some characters that have an intentional character arc from bad guy to good guy (think Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones or Jamie Tartt in Ted Lasso), but what about characters who didn’t really have a traditional arc, they just kinda changed or grew on you?
For example, mine is Diego from The Umbrella Academy. I couldn’t stand him in season 1, but since season 2 he’s been my favorite character. He had a crisis and went from just a douche to like a silly/funny douche. He was never a bad guy and he’s not necessarily undergone a transition to a good guy, he’s just much more enjoyable of a character now.
