Twisters is very much the outlier with Fall Guy and the A Quiet Place prequel also under-performing, while Inside Out, D&W and Despicable Me are all doing well. That isn’t a surprise as I think most people would have been able to predict in advance that Twisters and Fall Guy wouldn’t do that well internationally and an unasked-for prequel was going to be a hard sell. Most of the rest can be out down to the writer’s strike and the stuttering return to business if the Chinese box office.
