Tales From the Loop was underrated & under appreciated it. I would have thought that a show that came out during the peak of COVID would have had stronger numbers given we were all stuck indoors but sadly I was wrong.
This show was such a visual and emotional masterpiece. The atmosphere, the storytelling, the music – everything clicked (for me). It was like stepping into a dreamlike world filled with wonder and melancholy.
Felt like a breath of fresh air in the sci-fi genre, with a focus on character and emotion. It explored themes of loss, finding new connections, and wrestling with the unknowable.
