A guy approached me today, said I looked familiar, and we talked about where we went to school. It was a brief conversation, and he asked for my number so we could hang out. I only spoke to this guy for a minute, so I said no.
I feel bad. He was a friendly person, no aggressive vibe at all, and maybe he really did want to hang out. But like, I didn’t want to give my number to a stranger. Deeper than that, I didn’t want to start contact with someone I knew for just a minute.
(Deeper than that, I’m not interested in the dating scene, and I guess he probably didn’t want to just hang out?)
He was so nice, and I basically implied that he could be a bad person. How would you have handled it?
