WE’RE GOING THROUGH EACH P4 TEAM’S SCHEDULE AND PICKING EVERY GAME.

Today we have the Syracuse Orange.

Am I reading that right? Syracuse at 9-3 and 5-0 in coin flip games? That can’t be right. We… someone has to have close game luck every year and I am going in on the Orange.

Fran Brown brought in transfers in key positions on offense, none more-so than Kyle McCord who live up to expectations at Ohio State, but is capable of exceeding them at Syracuse.

Currently I have the Orange favored in their first 5 games, and they will need to win all of them if this prediction is to come true. Circle that Georgia Tech game in week 2 as one of the most crucial matchups for both teams who occupy the same space in the conference. I like Cuse in the done but I’ll be sweating it.

The back half gets difficult where I have the Orange as dogs in 5 straight games although I have them winning the middle 3 at Pitt, hosting VT and at Boston College. I could see anywhere from 0-3 to 3-0 in this stretch but the most likely outcome is probably 1-2.

I like this team this year. Could be my bias for McCord, could be the mystique of the dome, but I just like them. Some people are on Georgia Tech, but I’m on Syracuse.

With so many coin flips and questionable depth on the OL, the floor is as low as 5-7, but I also see only 2 forsure losses at NC State and hosting Miami, so the ceiling is 10-2.

How do you see it?
