Which week is loaded with the best matchups? I love college football as much as everyone else, but the demands of life mean I usually can’t be watching from when game day airs in the morning to the end of ESPN CFB Final at 2:30AM. Between Fall activities with the GF, necessary errands, and other obligations part of each Saturday is compromised.
However, if I lay the groundwork in advance I’m usually able to establish a negotiated peace whereby I’m able to devote 1–2 Saturdays (one of which is normally rivalry weekend) entirely to the viewing of our great game, morning until late evening. Though I’m a Michigan State fan, I normally watch CFB in a Red Zone style, keeping an eye on big matchups, games appear to be getting crazy, and to a smaller extent, monitoring any wagers that I have in play.
Which Saturday should I pick this year? October 12 looks like a prime candidate: Oregon-Ohio St., Texas-Oklahoma, Florida-Tennessee, Ole Miss-LSU, Penn St.-USC, KSU-Colorado, Boise State.-Hawaii
So does November 9th: Alabama-LSU, Georgia-Ole Miss, Oklahoma-Missouri, Texas-Florida, ND-Florida St, the Holy War. UNLV-Hawaii All B12 games will be good.
