Hi community! I’m fleeing my spouse and have what may be a weird question. I’ll be catching a last minute flight far away and I’m planning on using HIS credit card to pay for it; I’m not allowed to have one in my own name and he controls every bit of the finances & access to them. This is the last part of my plan to escape. Anyway, I’m wondering how long it would take for this charge to show up on his statement. I’m pretty positive he’s not smart enough to have set up any notifications with regard to usage of the card, but I can’t swear to that. I’m travelling with a cat, and have to therefore have a bit of beforehand planning - I’ll sit in the airport for as many hours as needed. If I buy this ticket but can’t get the soonest flight, can he cancel the charge asap so it leaves me sitting there with nowhere to go but back to his grip? Gosh, I hope I’m making sense.
