With the incredibly anti-climactic season finale of HOTD out of the way, let’s have a discussion. Why have shows like HOTD, The Bear, and The Boys been so mediocre? We can even throw The Acolyte in there for fun. What was once a promising slate of summer television has since become incredibly disappointing and mediocre pieces of television… Are we truly out of the “Golden Age of Television”?
