USC’s offense will likely take a hit since Caleb Williams is gone although I’m sure Lincoln Riley will manage. Their defense should be better though so they might actually start playing it this year. If they can, then I trust Lincoln Riley to put up enough points to win games. That LSU game will be a lot of fun and if they win that they’re likely going to be a force to be reckoned with in the Big 10, but that can still be true with a loss. Currently I’m not sold on them this year and if they beat LSU that would go a long way in my eyes.

Their schedule doesn’t get much easier after they’ll have to travel to play Michigan in the Big House. Wisconsin could be tough too and later on there is Penn State. It might be a rough first half of the year for USC. The latter half isn’t too much better since they just have a tough schedule; such is the way in today’s Big 10. Washington will be tough, maybe Nebraska could pose a challenge, UCLA beat them last year, and Notre Dame will be yet another tough game.

It might be a long year for USC but at least we get fun matchups against Rutgers and Maryland, about as far as you can go in the continental United States. Their schedule is brutal and they have a new QB. If all goes horribly wrong they’ll probably finish 6-6, but if they can keep things on track they can get up to 9-3.
