One of my great annoyances regarding CFB includes the way the Heisman winner is selected. Since 2000 the Heisman has been granted to 20 QBs, 1 WR and 3 RBs. If the Heisman truly selected the best player, we’d expect roughly half of those men to be defenders, and about a quarter of them to be offensive linemen. Even generationally talented players (such as Ndamukong Suh) are unable to overcome the bias for offensive skilled players. So,

Which players should have won the Heisman, but played the wrong position?

Bonus: Is there a way for r/cfb to create a better version of the Heisman, but for the best overall player?
