There’s many TV adaptations with Vikings. Last Kingdom with Uhtred, many more. Many die believing in there gods. Ragnar was the first to admit he doesn’t believe in the gods. He wanted to believe in the Christian’s so he could see his fallen friend again. His character design was brilliant.
His dying speech you could tell was a play. He plays off saying he welcomes the Valkyrie to take him home. He was lying to make people fear his people. But the one thing he said and you could hear in this voice “My death comes without apology”. That put shivers in me. Rip post Ragnar…
