Because as I have been slowly making my way through the original Stargate series, it made me appreciate how many cool sci fi shows there were during the time the first season aired as back then there was Star Trek Deep Space Nine and Babylon 5 for instance again back when Stargate the TV show made its official premiere.
Then near the end of the 90s, a little known show called FarScape soon took over the scene as the show would quickly draw in viewers for its surreal yet engaging nature as while the show would slowly get into mind twister levels, it was made the show so unique as it’s hard to explain, but again something about its surreal nature managed to make it work so well.
I guess what I am trying to say is that I miss that particular era of TV as there were so many cool sci-fi shows that aired between the mid to late 90s that even today, it’s still hard to believe how distant the whole era itself feels that I wonder if there will ever be another golden era like it as while Stargate may have ended long ago, the series is still very enjoyable to watch as personally I really like the multi universe concept it has going as I don’t know how many shows like it do the dimension exploration trope that it pioneered when it debuted.
