I know the ratings are strong etc but wow this season is so underwhelming for me. Aside from Dance of Dragons that was a standout episode, no episode this season has fully “sang” for me. The first season was amazing. The characters, the story, the pacing. It all just worked. This seasons feels like we’re just trudging along for hopefully better things to come in season 3. Game of Thrones never made me feel this way. Even in the “wordier” episodes every scene was rivetting. People would entire seasons just so they could see two people hang out in a room and talk. House of The Dragon gives me no such urgency and trepidation. Lets hope they at least end this season on a high note.
