Basically, I was trying to view this post and for some reason the picture wouldn’t show up in regular browsing. So I tried clicking it and multiple times, without fail, every time I open it I get logged out from lemmy.world. Any reason why might this happen?

If you open a link in a new tab, sometimes it shows that you’re logged out. Try F5 or CTRL+R, you should be logged in again.

Happened on mobile (haven’t tried from desktop yet), but hard-refreshing through Safari, or closing and reopening the browser don’t seem to have any effect.

Yeah experiencing the same issue every now and then in Safari. I have reported that one a few days ago. Hopefully it will be resolved soon…
