The Bear, The Mandalorian and Ted Lasso each had its moment as the most discussed show in the past five years, but they all disappointed fans in their third seasons. Why this this happening?
I haven’t watched the third seasons of any of these shows, but the season 3 backlashes are jarring. Mandolerian fans were running around in circles with excitement when they saw the season 2 finale reveal. Then the show apparently became so bad that it dropped off the face of the earth and viewers and critics stopped talking about it. The first time I remember this occurring for a prestige show was the House of Cards, which should have lasted a tight two seasons.
