Probably nowhere near the craziest but Charles Adler and his agent wrote Steven Spielberg an angry letter because he didn’t get offered a role on Animaniacs.
This letter got him fired from Tiny Toon Adventures.
I guess he thought he had to act like a child seeing as he’s working in Children’s TV because while unfortunately acting in general has little job security and it can hurt when a good gig doesn’t lead to longer opportunities…that was a really childish reaction.
Like you aren’t always going to be cast in the creators’ follow up show; the majority of the actors in Tiny Toons either weren’t in Animaniacs at all or only had guest starring roles. Same is true for many of those 90s Steven Spielberg cartoons. It’s just show biz!
And honestly I can’t even think of a character from Animaniacs he could’ve fit.
I hope though he learned from that experience and didn’t do something that petty again but still that was crazy a grown ass man was that triggered about not being cast in a freaking children’s show just because he was on the children’s show they were making at the time!
Danny Cooksey was an actual teenager when he worked on Tiny Toons and Cree Summer was barely an adult but you don’t hear about them writing angry letters because they didn’t offer either of them a role in Animaniacs so there is no good excuse a man in his mid 30s did that!
