With the season just 30 days away, and the fact that I called the WVU resurgence and Garret Greene dominance I am qualifying myself to make this post. Here are some of my mild to hot takes. I am bored and need some entertainment so let me hear some of yours.
- Cincinnati is this year’s WVU, going 7-5 regular season and winning their bowl game to notch an 8 win season in Satt’s second year (Mild/hot).
- Josh Hoover’s play this season gets him a spot in NYC (flaming hot).
- Texas Tech will keep one QB healthy the entire year (hot).
- Baylor wins 7-8 games (hot/flaming hot), or GJ Kinne is the new coach in Waco halfway through the year (hot).
- None of OSU, KSU or Utah win the Big12 (hot/flaming hot).
- UCF makes the title game (mild/hot).
- While I love me some Arizona, the talent is not enough to overcome the coaching change and the wildcats go 6-6 in the regular season (mild/hot).
- Avery Johnson, while solid, will not be considered a top QB in the league next year (hot).
- OSU drops a key week 2 game to Arkansas and Alan Bowman is replaced by Zane Flores after losing to KSU. Gundy, however, still wins 8/9 games (hot).
- The Big12 gets two teams in the playoff (flaming hot).
