As a kid/pre-teen/teen I’ve always loved shows about high school (even-though I’ve never had the typical high school experience myself because I’m not from the US). But most of the shows I enjoyed like Buffy, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, hell, even Beverly Hills 90210 etc. I’ve always lost interest as soon as they graduated and went to college (I still stuck around with Buffy though).
I’m sure some of it has to do with just being a kid and not being able to relate to it anymore (moving out, more grown up themes etc.) and I guess you also never get back to those shows even if you go to college/university because those were kids shows. But I’d still be interested if there’s a show that managed to do it well.
