The premise is 5 couples making their way from two points, no flights but, do it for the cost of the airfare of that total trip.
There are 6 or 7 checkpoints throughout (basically, each episode is a checkpoint) where they rest 36 hours but start based on where they finished each ‘leg’ (i.e. 2 hours ahead, 6 hours ahead, 24 hours ahead)
There’s also points set up in various spots where they can work to earn some money back and contestants are given a list of those, which they can work into their trip
It’s a mix of racing, budgeting, doing some tourist stuff and bonding with each other and locals and so on.
They have done Mexico City to Ushuaia in Argentina and London to Singapore as well as across Canada and Japan to Lombok in Indonesia.

Really been enjoying it, just discovered it and been watching them all
