According to this Deadline article, Free streaming TV apps have been very successful this year, because they offer long seasons of 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s TV shows from different studios, not like the subscription led platforms that focus on one studios worth of content which is often limited, due to existing deals with TV channels and other streamers.
