When Utah, Colorado, Arizona and ASU were rumored to the Big 12 they were often referred to the 4 corners schools. However, they are only 3/4 corners since there isn’t a New Mexico team. This got me thinking, has there ever been a conference with schools from all 4 states?
The Big 12 has schools in Arizona, Utah and Colorado
The Mountain West has schools in Utah, Colorado and New Mexico
The Big Sky has schools in Arizona, Utah and Colorado
I think the best chance of a conference getting all 4 corner states would be the Mountain West someday getting Northern Arizona because I don’t really see New Mexico getting a Big 12 invitation any time soon. What do you all think?
