In a show, there are often plots that get brought up during the pilot/the beginning of a show’s run that just don’t work as the characters become more established. Sometimes the plots just get dropped, but sometimes they get handled gracefully and the pivot feels organic. My example of this would be in Brooklyn 99, where Boyle had a crush on Rosa but it wasn’t working. The plot pivot away from that was done extremely gracefully, and it felt earned when Charles stopped having feelings for Rosa. What are some of your examples?
