Just found this interesting. Michigan and USC did a home-and-home in 1957 (@ USC) and 1958 (@Michigan). They have never played in the regular season since.

Their only matchups since then have been in Rose Bowls.

Michigan won both regular season matchups, and won the 1948 and 1989 Rose Bowls.

USC won the other Rose Bowls (1970, ‘77, ‘79, ‘90, ‘04, and ‘07).
