I’m reading WAY too much into it, and I don’t know why it irritates me so much but everything I hear it I wonder why she couldn’t have found a female example for dancing and smoking (you know, if she’s every WOMAN) and the “fuck like Marilyn” pisses me off because she’s reduced Marilyn to that. I mean, I don’t idolize Marilyn in any way - I think she was extremely troubled and to reduce her to that is crass. The song drives me bonkers.
Anyway. That’s my useless unnecessary rant for the day. LOL 😆
