I had asked this question last year and with the season fast approaching once more, I wanted to ask this question for 2024. If your favorite team won their first six games of the season, where do you think they will be ranked after that start to the year?
For ECU, we have vs Norfolk State, at Old Dominion, vs Appalachian State, at Liberty, vs UT-San Antonio and at Charlotte. I think if we beat two top G5 schools in out of conference play with App State and Liberty, while also starting AAC play 2-0 beating a conference favorite in UTSA and avenging last year’s defeat against Charlotte, ECU would probably be getting votes in the poll by then, but probably ranked no higher than #24.
