This may contain some spoilers, you have The Bear and and The Boys. Some of the most popular and critically acclaimed tv shows in the last couple of years, in which new seasons take multiple years to come and then they just squander their episodes on the most asinine plot points and random characters possible.
On The boys side, you have the mutli season storyline of them vs the Seven, and just like every season nothing of consequence happens. Homelander is just regressing as a character, the boys look inept at being able to deal with any kind of superhero threat than season 1. You can literally delete the current and season 3 and none of the status quo changes.
The bear - literally none of the episodes in the newest season have anything to do with each other. The only over arching storyline through the season if Sydney will sign the partnership agreement, which in the end didnt even up getting resolved, we have to wait for the next season anyway. Carmine is still struggling to run the resturant, just like in the beginning of the season, Sydney still cant stand up for herself, the faks are are getting more annoying. None of conflict is resolved at end, we are just stuck waiting.
