I’ve tried to delete my lemmy.world account, but can still log into my fully functional account. I’ve tried waiting it out for 3 or 4 days now.
All account deletion seems to do is log you out.

But seriously. We get that this is a big issue, a user should be able to delete their account at all times. Not only to comply with legislation, but also from a moral standpoint. That’s why developers are already working on a solution. I don’t know exactly when the patch will be rolled out.

Thanks. There is likely an API fix for it. The downside is that I’m going to be unable to say what works haha.
