I mean there are silly lines of dialogue he sells only because of his read. He can go broad and get laughs that way or nuanced as is his convo with Albert in those severe close ups. He’s got great timing. He’s really a cool screen presence.

And then I remember his work on Louie and THAT was fantastic. He was such an odd dick. And again, funny. He really has his funny bone on the pulse of comedy. Always has, really.

But it’s strictly his acting work that really has me going. Might’ve been nice to have seen him in more things but whatever. He appeared on Family Guy and was so good on that. I never would’ve thought he’d actually do something so, idk, mainstream?

Not sub for it, but guested in a couple films. The Fablemens or Fabletons or whatever it’s called. Knocked that John Houston role out if the park.

I’d totally give David Lynch a Lifetime Emmy award just for his role as Agent Gordon Cole.
