Just to clarify. What would be the show you want to be produced the most? Can be based on books, games any other existing ip (Hello kitty island adventure for example).
My personal wish would an X-Files-esque series set against a backdrop of cosmic horror. In this show, law enforcement or other experts investigate and confront horrors from beyond, exploring their influence on our world and all the players involved.
Episodes would alternate between an overarching story and a “monster of the week” format. The central plot revolves around efforts to bring about an “Old One,” with involvement from people in positions of power, such as corporate and government officials. Each “monster of the week” episode could feature manifestations of cosmic horror in various forms. This could include small town cults, people afflicted with conditions reminiscent of established folklore, and so on. The sky’s the limit.
The core of the show would be the interactions between the main cast. Despite the highs and lows of the X-Files, the enduring appeal was always the dynamic between Mulder and Scully. Similarly, this series would emphasise the relationships and chemistry among its lead characters.
Vibe-wise it would blend the investigative intrigue of the X-Files with the eerie, atmospheric intensity of True Detective’s first season.
