Basically without giving too much away, I decided to ask this question as I was inspired by a post I saw here on worst TV endings ever, and I wanted to discuss ones that ended on such a bizarre note that viewers were greatly stumped because they didn’t understand what just happened.
I don’t know what the trope is called for such endings in TV shows in general, but it just seemed like an interesting topic to discuss because sometimes a TV series will start off as fairly normal, and then for no reason, has an ending that just makes no sense as it leaves people very confused, and then that’s it.
