There are so many talented character actors. Can you think of any ones you particularly like? If possible, include the show(s) in which they appeared. I have four. 1. Denis O’Hare in Law and Order. My first exposure to this actor was the episode titled “Pro Se.” He played a schizophrenic who had killed several people. He acted as his own lawyer. That episode was heartbreaking. 2. Ann Dowd acted in the same episode with Denis O’Hare. She played his sister. Her testimony brought tears to my eyes. She also played Andrew Beckett’s sister in “Philadelphia.” 3.Margo Martindale had a recurring role in The Americans. 4. Harriet Samson Harris played Bebe Glazer, Frasier’s agent.
